What is Membership Committee?
ASDA’s Membership Committee is responsible for building a strong, welcoming, and engaged ASDA community by helping all students discover the many ways they can get involved. The committee serves as a bridge for students who are interested in participating but may not know where to start, with a particular focus on helping D1s transition into ASDA events, committees, and leadership opportunities. Throughout the year, the Membership Committee works to inspire ASDA spirit and strengthen connections among members through initiatives such as ASDA Fever Week and the Big/Little Program. Membership Committee’s focus is on creating a connected and enthusiastic student body, encouraging involvement at every level, and ensuring that every student feels like they have a place within ASDA.

Big / Little Program
The purpose of the ASDA Big/Little Program is to foster meaningful relationships between different class years and create a strong sense of community within MUSoD. The program provides incoming and current students with support, guidance, and mentorship as they navigate the academic, clinical, and social aspects of dental school. By connecting students across grade levels, the Big/Little Program encourages collaboration, strengthens friendships, and promotes greater social interconnectedness throughout the MUSoD community.
